Please pray for my wife Shelley who continues to suffer from severe back pain and headaches. She is on lots of pain medication so please pray she can reduce it and that a procedure will be approved by insurance that we pray will help her back. Also she has a mammogram coming up so please pray it will be normal. Thank you so much.

Please pray for two of our dear friends with brain tumors.
Mike has been fighting an inoperable tumor. The doctors told him in less he gets well enough to receive stem cell treatment he won't make it. He and his wife Peggy have been going back and forth to another state for treatment. His wife has to stay in a hotel across the street.
Our friend, who I'll call Lynn, had brain surgery about 6 months ago. The doctor was not able to get all of her tumer at the time and it has grown back very rapidly. She is having surgery again Aug 31st. She's frightened for several reasons. She's afraid of going through the surgery again, she's afraid of the recovery process, and she's afraid they won't get it all and it will grow back.
Please pray for these things and that they would feel God's peace, hope, strength, and His love.

With Friendly/nice people, I Suspect they are after me for something.
I feel rejected by people I like.

I keep a distance from old and new friends while at the same time Longing for close relationships..
I know His Grace is enough
I need wisdom and courage to discern.

Hello, I would really like some prayers for me and my family (me, my 8 year old sister, my grandmother, and my mom) in this troubling situation that has been happening for some time.
My mother was in a severe car accident back in 2016, leaving her disabled and suffering through chronic pain throughout her arms and hands. This has led her to abuse of pain medication and other drugs. These factors have changed her drastically as well as our lifestyle… to the point where my grandmother refuses to talk to her anymore. My mother is also struggling in maintaining a job and paying rent as a result of this disability and arising mental illness.
As the older sister, I’ve been the one to step up to the plate when helping out to take care of my sister and driving her to her visits with my mom or bringing her back to her dads custody (we have different fathers). There are times when I feel like I’m more of a mother figure to her than our own mom. I am grateful that I can be of great help and bring peace to my family when I’m around, especially since my sister sees me as the safe space amongst our whole family… but I’ve been feeling more and more burdened in keeping the family intact. There is only so much I can do and I really need Gods intervention and guidance.
Lord, I really pray for healing in my mother and the financial assistance she needs to push through her disability. I pray for my strength and patience to continue on. I pray for reconnection between my mom and grandmother. And I pray my little sister will learn to grow into a Jesus-loving woman despite the hardships she comes across.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read all of this. It’s my first prayer request at Friends, despite attending here for a few years now. 🙂
