MEET OUR TEAM

Lori Reedy
Kids Director
Lori has been a part of our kid’s staff for 20 plus years! It is her honor and privilege to have the amazing opportunity to impact the lives of not only children but their parents as well. What better way to build the kingdom of God than in the hearts and lives of children. She is married to her husband Scott and they are parents of 4 adult children Tyler, Tanner, Coleman, and Katelin. She loves spending time with family, going to the beach, biking, hiking and taking fun vacations!

Natalie Washington
Early Childhood Director
Natalie has her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She has always loved working with children and is passionate about showing them how to love and live as Christ did. She counts it an honor to care for, pray for, and spend time with the children at Friends. She married her high school sweetheart, Keith, and together they have 3 amazing children who have helped her grow beyond anything she could have ever imagined. She loves animals, sunsets at the beach and watching her children play sports.

Elizabeth Miller
Elementary Director
Elizabeth is a proud Pepperdine University graduate. Go Waves! She has always had a passion for early childhood teaching and discipleship – helping children understand what it means to love God and love others. She also finds great joy in connecting with and loving on her volunteers. When she’s not ministering at Friends, she loves to experiment in the kitchen. She also enjoys musical theatre and taking in some culture at local museums. Her four children and her husband, Brian, are a source of great joy and encouragement in her life and you’ll hear her speak of them often!

Monica Lockhart
Nursery Associate
Monica’s journey to becoming a Kids Care Associate came after a series of life changes. Monica comes from a large family and counts the bond between her siblings as a blessing and a source of strength. When she and her husband discovered that having children of their own was not in God’s plan, they prayed for guidance and then turned to Olive Crest. Monica feels they have been blessed abundantly, as they have fostered and adopted all 6 of their children. Monica is a child advocate and has become an Ambassador for Olive Crest.

Alexa Richards
Early Childhood Associate
Alexa is currently a student at California State University of Long Beach and majoring in design. She also has a degree form FIDM for visual communications. Besides school, Alexa loves to travel, hang out with friends and family, and serve the community. She has grown up at Yorba Linda Friends and is so excited for the opportunity to bring children closer to God, and be apart of the ministry that shaped her into who she is today.

Jon Fuentes
Kinder – 3rd Grade Associate
Jon is a CSUF graduate who achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. He is passionate about Children’s Ministry and believes that having a strong knowledge of the Bible is the most important foundation for people of all ages. His relationship with God began at an early age and has spent his life spreading the love of God through coaching sports, teaching kids, and ministering to his friends and family. Jon also leads a small group of Junior High students and is a sports fanatic who loves to play and watch Spikeball, baseball, and basketball.

Alyssa Powers
