Houseboats is a camp completely on water! We start and end our journey from Paradise Point Marina in Stockton, Ca and make our way up the Sacramento Delta. We spend five days on a fleet of houseboats with skiing, wakeboarding, banana boating, swimming, Bible study, and worship! To learn more about Sonshine Ministiries, you can visit their website here!
Registration will open on March 1, 2020 and close a week before camp on June 15, 2020.

We have a discounted early bird price of $405 for the first 40 students to register. After the first 40 spots are taken, the standard price of registration will be $435.

What does the cost include?
All camp activities and meals are included, however students will need to bring money for two meals on the road, in addition to whatever snacks they’d like to purchase. Also, there is a daily “Captain Fun” boat that visits our students with various snacks and souvenirs to purchase. The Captian Fun Boat items are an optional cost.

Each day students will have the opportunity to be instructed in wakeboarding or waterskiing by the trained and experienced Sonshine staff. Students not interested in those activities can also choose to go tubing or ride banana boats. There are also plenty of activities on the houseboats including swimming, fishing, board games, crafts, fun competitions and more! You don’t need to know how to wakeboard to have an amazing time up at houseboats!!!
Sonshine Ministries adheres to a one-piece rule, however modest tankinis or bikinis with t-shirts are acceptable. Speedos are not allowed (sorry guys!) Keep in mind the physical nature of this trip when choosing a bathing suit.
Each boat will hold 13 students, 2 adult HSM leaders and 2 Sonshine ministries leaders. Every leader on this trip has gone through an extensive screening process.
Safety is our highest priority. Sonshine Ministries has been hosting houseboat camps for churches for over 40 years! They have a proven track record of safety and take this very seriously. You can check out more about Sonshine Ministries by clicking here.
