Key Passage: Hebrews 4:14-16

Key Idea:
For some, this season has been perhaps a really encouraging one, as we have seen our faith tested and proven true. Perhaps others of us, however, have struggled with fear and anxiety–and shame from not being stronger in our faith. If we find ourselves in the latter category, that’s OK–Jesus “gets us.” He has walked alongside of us. He knows the struggles of this earth. And even when we fail, He is our advocate before the Father, telling Him how hard it is on earth and pleading with God to look at His example and not ours. Jesus identifies with. God did not stay distant; God is near. That is God’s promise to us.
